Dunwoody SchoolDaze shares an excellent case for redistricting the entire county.

l'm passionate about public education, especially its role in fighting poverty. Education gives people a chance to succeed, even when the odds are stacked against them. I taught English for four years at Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County Public Schools, and I spent the last two years teaching English in the DeKalb County School District at Cross Keys High School. Currently, I work for the Center for Pan-Asian Community Services (CPACS) doing advocacy work and community engagement. I also sit on the Board of Directors for Presencia, a non-profit located on Buford Highway that exists to provide economic, educational, and social support to refugees and immigrants through after-school programs, job creation, and leadership development. Throughout the past year, I've been working with an incredible group of people to establish a community association for the residents of apartment complexes along Buford Highway. The mission of our grassroots organization -- Los Vecinos de Buford Highway (The Neighborhoods of Buford Highway) -- is to cultivate community, magnify voices, and grow future leaders. I reside in unincorporated DeKalb County with my husband, who works for the water program at the Atlanta Regional Commission, and two beautiful daughters. Sometimes I do yoga, sometimes I read, and sometimes I sleep. Please feel free to contact me at email@example.com.
